What is this Programme about?
If you care about the environment and want to implement actions for its protection or restoration, the 'Green Volunteering' Programme is for you! The Youth Board of Cyprus (YBC) stands by your side by funding your actions, in an effort to encourage all young people in the country to acquire experiences, skills, and knowledge in the environmental sector through volunteering.
Objectives of the Programme
The objectives of the Programme are to:
- raise awareness and promote environmental consciousness;
- encourage the implementation of environmental initiatives;
- promote environmental education and awareness;
- foster active participation and a sense of responsibility; and
- promote networking and the development of synergies between organisations and young people.
